is a syncretic, afro american main religion in Cuba,
their Orishas (gods of Santería) with Catholic saints

Voodoo is officially recognized as a religion in Benin,

Santería is the Spanish collective term for the cults
of African origin in Cuba.
The supreme deity of Santería is Olodumare.
Olodumare is creator of, all the energy and creator of Orichas.
He is so far removed from humanity in his perfection and purity,
that he is not directly worshiped (similar to Bon Dieu from the Voodoo cult).
Orichas are spirit beings / deities, the different manifestations
from Oludumare.
The faithful turn to the Orichas in their rituals.
Depending on the source, up to 600 different Orichas are mentioned,
but in the Santería only about two dozen of them are worshiped.
Elegguá.
He is the master of the streets, crossroads and doors.
His emblematic colors are red and black,

His favorite dishes include smoked fish, yams roots and sugar cane.
